Riverview Station (aka The Candlestation) is the setting for mayhem and murder in ART'S BLOOD by Vicki Lane -- Madison County author and longtime student of Riverview's own Fleta Monaghan. Now available from BantamDell, ART'S BLOOD is the second in the Elizabeth Goodweather mystery series which began with SIGNS IN THE BLOOD (Dell 2005.)
-----
The mountains of North Carolina are a patchwork of old and new – and the joining is not always harmonious. When art turns to murder, Elizabeth is caught between two worlds – the lively art scene of modern day Asheville and a bitter inheritance from Depression Era Appalachia. The story moves through the galleries and studios of the city as well as the nearby rural mountain hollows. Those familiar with Asheville and its environs may recognize many of the settings but the characters -- well, this is fiction. www.vickilanemysteries.com
